Crowcon – Detective + Area Gas Detector

The Crowcon Detective+ is a robust, portable gas detector with an IP65 ingress protection rating, making it water, dust, and impact-resistant, ideal for use in confined spaces, underground, and above-ground scenarios. Its foldable tripod leg design ensures stability, easy placement, and compact storage, while maintaining high visibility.

Fitted with advanced infrared sensors, the Detective+ can detect gases such as carbon dioxide and hydrogen up to 100 metres away, with fast response times of 10–20 seconds. The sensors include anti-poison protection, extending their lifespan and ensuring accurate measurements in challenging environments.

The unit uses a red LED cluster and a powerful 104 dBA audible alarm to alert you when gas is detected. Even when no gas is present, confidence blips—both audible and visual—confirm the unit is active and functioning correctly.

A clear built-in display provides real-time data on gas levels, battery life, calibration, and configuration settings. An optional built-in pump adds versatility for various sampling needs. With up to 60 hours of battery life and 125 hours of data storage, the Detective+ is ideal for extended use and continuous monitoring.
