The MSA V-EDGE SRL is a robust solution for work-at-height operations. Available in 6m, 10m, or 15m lengths, the industrial-strength tear webbing cable is built to withstand harsh environments, with all internal components crafted from corrosion-resistant materials. The entire unit is encased in a toughened UV-stable plastic housing, offering maximum protection against the elements.
What sets the V-EDGE SRL apart is its unique retraction-dampening system—an exclusive MSA innovation. If the cable is released while extended, the dampener automatically restricts the retraction speed, preventing damage to the device and nearby objects. A built-in energy absorber further enhances safety by limiting the force transmitted to the user and anchorage point to below 6 kN.
Designed with practicality in mind, the V-EDGE SRL features a transparent casing for easy visual inspections, individually marked serial numbers for full traceability, and a built-in carry handle to reduce drop risk and simplify transport. Thanks to its site-serviceable design, maintenance and repairs can be carried out quickly by MSA Latchways-trained technicians, keeping downtime to a minimum and productivity high.
