The RIDGEGEAR RGL13 is a highly versatile and industry-standard adjustable shock-absorbing lanyard designed for use in static positioning when connected to a fixed anchor point. It builds on the reliability of a traditional single-leg lanyard, adding the advantage of adjustability to offer greater control, safety, and comfort.
With an adjustable length of 1.2m to 1.8m (including connectors), the RGL13 helps users reduce free fall distance and minimise trip hazards—features not possible with fixed-length lanyards. This flexibility allows it to adapt to a variety of working environments, making it ideal for both general and task-specific height safety needs.
Fitted with a shock absorber pack, the RGL13 ensures that in the event of a fall, the maximum arrest force remains below 6kN, protecting the user from excessive impact. Supplied with a 17mm steel screwgate karabiner (RGK1) and steel adjuster, this lanyard is both strong and easy to use.
Fully accredited to EN 355:2002, the RGL13 is a smart, safety-first solution for professionals working at height who require the flexibility to adjust their positioning with confidence.
The RIDGEGEAR RGL16, RGL11, and RGL13 are all shock-absorbing lanyards designed for different height safety needs. The RGL16 is a twin-leg adjustable lanyard, ideal for tower climbing and scaffolding, allowing for double clipping between anchor points for continuous protection. The RGL11 is a single-leg kernmantle rope lanyard used in static positions, often choked around poles, popular in utility work. The RGL13 is a single-leg adjustable webbing lanyard designed for static work with the added benefit of adjustability to reduce fall distance and trip hazards. All are EN 355:2002 certified and feature a shock absorber to limit arrest forces to under 6kN.
