Standard Sonde 33khz
The Standard Sonde 33kHz is a compact, self-contained locating device designed to provide a strong and reliable signal for accurate pipe and duct tracing. Battery-operated and easy to deploy, this robust sonde measures just 39mm in diameter and 105mm in length (1.53″ x 4.13″), making it ideal for use in confined spaces and challenging environments.
Designed for maximum versatility, the Standard Sonde 33kHz can be connected to a flexrod, allowing it to be easily inserted into pipes, ducts, and conduits. This enables users to trace the location and route of non-metallic and metallic infrastructure with precision, improving operational efficiency and reducing the risk of accidental damage during excavation or maintenance.
The sonde is available in three frequency options — 512Hz, 8kHz, and 33kHz — offering flexibility to suit different tracing requirements and equipment compatibility. With a locate depth of up to 5 metres (approximately 16 feet), it ensures dependable performance across a wide range of applications.
