ABTECH – AB15T 15M FALL ARREST DEVICE
The ABTECH AB15T is a 15-metre fall arrest device designed to provide safe, controlled fall protection when working at height. Ideal for vertical and overhead anchoring, it allows users to move freely within a safe working area, with the retractable lifeline automatically adjusting to their movements.
In the event of a fall, the AB15T features a built-in braking mechanism that activates instantly, delivering a controlled deceleration to reduce impact force and ensure user safety. The swivel anchor eye at the top of the device helps prevent line twisting, and the indicator hook provides a clear visual sign if the unit has been deployed.
Constructed with 5mm galvanised wire rope, the AB15T is both strong and durable, conforming to BS EN360 standards. Despite its robust build, it weighs only 8.75kg, making it easy to transport and install on site. With a 150kg maximum recommended user weight, it’s suitable for a wide range of industrial applications.
