Abtech – Basket Stretcher
The Abtech Basket Stretcher is built to meet the critical demands of emergency response and rescue operations in the harshest environments. Constructed from high-density cross-linked polyethylene, it offers outstanding resistance to splintering, cracking, and the damaging effects of chemicals, extreme temperatures, and rough handling. This makes it an ideal choice for situations where durability and reliability are paramount—such as mountain rescues, industrial accidents, and confined space recoveries.
The Basket Stretcher’s non-absorbent orange shell is highly visible for improved safety and coordination, and it stays hygienic and is easy to clean, even after exposure to tough conditions like body fluids or petroleum products. Reinforced with a permanently secured tubular aluminium frame, it delivers exceptional strength while remaining lightweight and easy to manoeuvre. With a load capacity of up to 278 kg, it can safely transport patients of various sizes with full confidence in its performance.
Designed with rescuer efficiency in mind, the stretcher includes moulded-in runners and handholds for secure, comfortable handling, and four strategically positioned lifting points with durable brass grommets.
