The Petzl AVAO SIT FAST is a modular sit harness designed for professionals who demand lightweight comfort, quick adjustment, and versatility while working at height. Its semi-rigid waistbelt and leg loops are contoured and padded with breathable foam, providing lasting comfort during suspension or movement. The metal side D-rings fold down when not in use to minimise snagging, and the central ventral D-ring offers secure attachment for a PODIUM or LITEPOD work seat, or a lanyard via the integrated textile loop.

The AVAO SIT FAST harness features FAST quick-release buckles on the leg loops for rapid donning and removal, even while wearing gloves, and DOUBLEBACK self-locking buckles on the waistbelt for secure and efficient adjustment. Anti-slip devices on the buckles help maintain fit throughout the workday, while replaceable elastic leg loop bands ensure a snug fit whether walking or suspended.

Designed for adaptability, the AVAO SIT FAST can be converted into a full-body fall-arrest harness by connecting it with a TOP or TOP CROLL chest harness, using a RING OPEN or quick link, making it a customisable option for varying work-at-height requirements.

The AVAO SIT FAST is a sit harness that focuses on lower-body support and modularity—it can be upgraded to a full-body fall arrest system by adding a compatible chest harness. In contrast, the AVAO FAST European Version is a complete, fully integrated full-body harness with built-in shoulder straps and fall arrest points, ideal for users who prefer an all-in-one solution straight out of the box.
