The C.Scope Duct Sonde (33kHz) is a specialist miniature signal transmitter designed specifically for tracing the direction of narrow ducts and conduits, particularly in situations where standard-sized sondes are too large to pass between cables. Developed in collaboration with British Telecom, this Sonde offers a compact, efficient solution for professionals working with telecommunications, electrical cabling, and other confined utility routes.
When used with a C.Scope Locator in Generator/Transmitter Mode, the Duct Sonde allows users to accurately trace the path of a duct or conduit, enabling teams to follow its route underground. It also allows for the precise identification of blockages or obstructions, making it an invaluable tool for both maintenance and diagnostic tasks. This targeted approach reduces unnecessary excavation, offering significant cost and time savings.
Its small diameter ensures smooth navigation through tight or crowded ducting, minimising the risk of snagging or disruption to surrounding cables. The 33kHz transmission frequency is widely compatible with C.Scope locating tools, ensuring reliable signal detection even in challenging environments.
