Centurion – ConceptAir Power Unit
The Centurion Replaceable ConceptAir Power Unit is the core power source within the ConceptAir Powered Respirator System. It is designed to deliver a continuous flow of filtered air to the user, ensuring effective respiratory protection in environments where airborne hazards such as dust, fumes, and particulates are present.
This unit powers the system’s filtration process, drawing contaminated air through a filter before supplying clean air to the wearer’s headpiece, such as a visor, hood, or helmet. By maintaining a constant airflow, it reduces breathing resistance, making it easier for the user to breathe comfortably during extended periods of work.
The Replaceable ConceptAir Power Unit is designed for easy maintenance. When the unit reaches the end of its lifespan or becomes damaged, it can be quickly replaced without changing the entire respirator system. Equipped with audible and visual alarms, the unit alerts the wearer if the battery is low or the filter is blocked, ensuring continuous protection and providing time for corrective action.
