The Crowcon Gasman Oxygen and Toxic Gas Monitor is a compact, lightweight, and fully robust personal gas detector designed for tough industrial environments. Despite its small size, it delivers powerful performance, offering reliable monitoring of oxygen levels or a wide range of toxic gases.
Engineered for ease of use, the Gasman Oxygen and Toxic Gas Monitor features simple one-button operation and a large, clear display showing real-time gas concentration. In the event of a hazardous reading, the unit provides triple alarm functionality with a loud 95 dBA audible alarm, dual-colour visual LEDs, and a vibrating alarm, ensuring immediate awareness in any working condition.
The Gasman Oxygen and Toxic Gas Monitor is built to withstand harsh environments, rated to IP65 and IP67 ingress protection, offering superior resistance to dust and water. It also includes Time Weighted Average (TWA) and Peak display options, providing critical exposure data for enhanced safety compliance.
For added efficiency, data and event logging are included as standard, supporting incident analysis and reporting.

No. Whilst a monitor can initially pass the start-up process and indicate that the monitor is functional, what this doesn’t tell you is if gas can actually reach the sensor, as the sensor membranes can become clogged with muck, dust and particles that are not visible to the human eye and thus not allowing the gas molecules to reach the sensor and react in a timely fashion.
No, however we would suggest that you undertake a Confined Space Course which covers the use of gas monitors. Our sister company Citrus Training offers these courses.
Of course you can, but please try to give us as much notice as possible and ensure that you have any relevant paperwork and purchase order numbers.
