Reid Lifting – Tdavit Double Winched (TDDW)

The Reid Lifting TDAVIT Double Winched (TDDW) is a high-performance, portable davit arm system designed for fall protection, confined space access, and rescue operations in industrial and hazardous environments. Engineered for strength, safety, and efficiency, the TDDW provides both goods lifting and personnel access capabilities in a compact and adaptable solution.

Tested to and compliant with EN795:2012 and meeting the requirements of IRATA ICOP, the TDAVIT Double Winched offers a personnel capacity of up to 300kg and a goods capacity of up to 600kg, making it ideal for demanding work-at-height and confined space scenarios. The double winch configuration—featuring double sheaves at both the front and rear of the beam—enables simultaneous use of winch ropes or retrieval SRLs for safe and efficient lifting or lowering.

Its double shackle head supports both lifting operations and PPE attachment, while the versatile winch bracket options are compatible with a wide range of winches and retrieval SRLs, giving users the flexibility to customise the system to their operational needs.

Certified to ATEX Zone 2 as standard—with an optional ATEX Zone 1 upgrade—the TDAVIT Double Winched is safe for use in potentially explosive atmospheres, making it especially suitable for oil & gas, utilities, chemical, and confined space environments. The unit is compatible with Reid’s full range of sockets and portable bases, and it comes with a carry bag for easy transportation and storage.
