Spanset – SP140 Single Elasticated Energy Absorbing Lanyard

The Spanset SP140 is a high-performance single elasticated energy-absorbing lanyard designed to provide superior safety, flexibility, and usability for those working at height, especially in confined or challenging environments. Tested and certified for users up to 140kg, it offers advanced fall protection for a broader range of workers.

Equipped with a lightweight scaffold hook, the SP140 is independently tested by an EU Notified Body and comes with published clearance data for body masses ranging from 80kg to 140kg, ensuring clear, trusted safety information. A smartphone app is also available to help quickly calculate clearance height in the field.

The compact energy absorber pack is designed for minimal bulk, improving freedom of movement in tight spaces. The integrated steel ring provides a secure “clip-back” point, keeping the lanyard tidy when not in use, and the Velcro-fastened fabric cover protects the energy absorber while allowing for easy inspection.

With Max-Span technology, the lanyard minimises absorber length, maximising usable working length for traversing tasks. Compatible with both steel captive EN double connectors and steel lite rebar EN double hooks, the SP140 is a versatile and robust addition to any fall protection setup.
