The Spanset Gotcha CRD Reach is a specialist Controlled Rate Descent (CRD) rescue kit designed to facilitate the remote rescue and evacuation of suspended workers without the need for the rescuer to descend to the casualty. Ideal for high-risk work at height in sectors such as construction, utilities, and industrial maintenance, this ready-to-use kit offers efficiency, safety, and full compliance for critical rescue operations.
Using the included rescue pole and connector, the rescuer can reach the casualty remotely, attach the system, and initiate a controlled descent, eliminating the need to physically access the casualty’s position. The automatic descender ensures a smooth and steady lowering with minimal manual input, while the integrated winch function allows for short-distance lifting to release the casualty from their fall arrest system.
Designed for versatility, the Gotcha CRD Reach supports the rescue or evacuation of multiple workers, making it a dependable asset for larger teams and sites. Each kit is pre-packed and deployment-ready, so teams can act fast with complete confidence when time is critical.
Available in 50m, 100m, 150m, and 200m descent heights, the Gotcha CRD Reach is suitable for a wide range of vertical rescue applications.
