        3M – SCBA Propak

        Available in Four Variants

        ProPak-i

The ProPak-i is a self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) designed for single-cylinder use. It features a lightweight, rigid backplate with a cylinder band and a fully adjustable body harness. The two-stage pneumatic system includes a Tempest automatic positive pressure demand valve with a bypass, a shoulder-mounted pressure gauge with a 55-bar warning whistle, and a first-stage pressure reducer with a high-pressure 200/300 bar cylinder connector.

The harness is made from durable, flame-retardant Kevlar blend webbing and includes unpadded upper shoulder straps, a padded waistbelt, and lumbar padding. The apparatus is compatible with Scott breathing apparatus cylinders ranging from 4.7 to 9 litres in capacity, at either 200 or 300 bar. It is CE marked to EN137:2006 Type 2 and MED approved.

        ProPak-f

The ProPak-f offers a step up in comfort while maintaining robust safety features. It includes a lightweight, rigid backplate with a cylinder band and a fully adjustable padded harness. Like the ProPak-i, it has a two-stage pneumatic system with a Tempest automatic positive pressure demand valve and bypass, as well as a shoulder-mounted pressure gauge with a 55-bar warning whistle. The first-stage pressure reducer is designed for use with high-pressure 200/300 bar cylinders.

The harness is constructed from a Kevlar and Pyrogard blend webbing with Proban material for added durability, while the webbing contains reflective thread for increased visibility. The addition of lumbar padding enhances user comfort. It is also compatible with Scott breathing apparatus cylinders from 4.7 to 9 litres at 200 or 300 bar and carries CE marking to EN137:2006 Type 2 and MED approval.

        ProPak-fx

The ProPak-fx is designed for maximum comfort and adaptability. It features a lightweight, rigid backplate with a Kevlar and Pyrogard blend cylinder band and a fully adjustable padded harness with a swivel movement waistbelt for improved flexibility. The backplate itself can be adjusted to accommodate different-sized users. It includes the same two-stage pneumatic system as the previous models, incorporating a Tempest automatic positive pressure demand valve with a bypass, a shoulder-mounted pressure gauge with a 55-bar warning whistle, and a first-stage pressure reducer compatible with high-pressure 200/300 bar cylinders.

The harness is made from a Kevlar and Pyrogard blend webbing with Proban material and reflective thread for added visibility. Like the other models, it supports Scott breathing apparatus cylinders ranging from 4.7 to 9 litres at 200 or 300 bar and meets CE EN137:2006 Type 2 and MED approval standards.

        SIGMA-2

The SIGMA-2 is a self-contained positive pressure breathing apparatus (SCBA) designed for high performance. It comes equipped with a Promask positive pressure face mask and a moulded composite backplate with a fully adjustable harness. The backplate is injection-moulded from a mineral carbon-filled anti-static polyamide composite material, ensuring durability and reliability. The harness is fabricated from flame-retardant Kevlar blend webbing, while the buckles and fittings are injection-moulded from corrosion-resistant polyamide.

The two-stage pneumatic system includes a first-breath activated positive pressure demand valve, a first-stage pressure reducing valve with an integral 200/300 bar cylinder connector, and a shoulder-mounted pressure gauge with a 55-bar warning whistle. Like the other models, it is CE marked to EN137:2006 Type 2 and MED approved.
