The C.Scope CAT & Genny DXL4/SGA4 Package is a powerful and advanced utility locating system, designed to improve safety, accuracy and efficiency in excavation projects. At the core of the CAT & Genny DXL4/SGA4 Package is the DXL4 Cable Avoidance Tool, which represents a major leap in cable detection technology. Available in two variants, DXL4-D with full data logging and DXL4-DBG with data logging, Bluetooth connectivity and GPS, this tool is built to enhance best working practices and minimise user error. Enhanced detection modes and innovative new features enable the DXL4 to detect even the most difficult-to-locate buried services with precision.
The SGA4 Signal Generator, included in the CAT & Genny DXL4/SGA4 Package, significantly boosts detection capability. Its dual-frequency output (33kHz and 131kHz) enables it to energise a greater range of buried utilities, including street lighting cables and poorly earthed conductors. The SGA4 can apply signals either through a direct connection, via a signal clamp or using a simple induction method from the surface, making it an adaptable and user-friendly solution for complex underground environments.
Together, the DXL4 and SGA4 provide professionals with a high-performance cable avoidance system that supports safer digging, improved utility detection and reduced risk of service strikes.
