The Abtech Counterweight Davit Kit is a freestanding, portable fall protection and access solution, designed for safe entry, rescue, and personnel positioning at the edge of confined spaces or vertical drops. Requiring no structural fixings or ground anchorage, the Counterweight Davit Kit is fully self-supporting, with the counterweight structure positioned behind the mast to keep the work zone clear.

Ideal for temporary or hard-to-anchor environments, this versatile system includes everything required for safe suspended access: an upper and lower davit arm, a 15m fall arrest winch, a 30m man-riding winch, and 360kg of counterweights to meet the safety requirements. The base itself features independently adjustable legs, ensuring stable setup on uneven ground. The system is certified to EN795 Class B, EN360, and EN1496, and provides a 4:1 safety factor per user when used with compatible offset masts.

With its flexible configuration and ease of deployment, the Counterweight Davit Kit is ideal for confined space work in construction, utilities, industrial maintenance, and emergency response.
