The IKAR HWPS Fall Arrest Devices is a durable and low-maintenance safety solution designed to protect users from falls while allowing free movement. Designed to function in any position, the HWPS has been rigorously tested in simulated fall trials over an edge, proving its effectiveness in real-world scenarios. Its shockproof plastic housing provides a tough, long-lasting exterior, making it ideal for both industrial and construction applications.

Manufactured, tested, and certified in Germany, it meets the European Standard EN360, ensuring maximum reliability in demanding environments.

The HWPS Fall Arrest Device features a 4.8mm plastic housing with a galvanised steel cable lifeline, a swivel eye attachment point, and an aluminium double-action connector with a load-indicating swivel eye. The swivel eyes on both the attachment point and connector prevent the lifeline from twisting, ensuring smooth and efficient operation.

Similar to a car safety belt, the lifeline remains under constant tension during normal use, allowing unrestricted movement. In the event of a fall, the locking system engages instantly, and the internal brake disc absorbs energy well below the 6kN limit required by the EN360 standard, providing reliable fall protection.
