The IKAR HWB Fall Arrest Devices are engineered to function in any position and have been rigorously tested through simulated fall trials over an edge, demonstrating their reliability in real-world conditions. The IKAR “HWB” range is built for durability and ease of use, featuring a shockproof aluminium housing that requires minimal maintenance.

Manufactured, tested, and certified in Germany, the IKAR Retractable Type Fall Arrest Devices conform to the European Standard EN360, ensuring maximum safety and reliability.

The HWB Fall Arrest Devices include a 25mm Dyneema webbing lifeline, a swivel eye attachment point, a sewn-in load indicator, and an aluminium double-action connector with a fixed eye. The swivel eye attachment helps prevent the webbing from twisting, ensuring smooth operation.

Functioning similarly to a car safety belt, the lifeline remains under constant tension, allowing the user to move freely during normal use. In the event of a fall, the locking system activates instantly, while the internal brake disk absorbs energy to below 3kN, well below the 6kN limit required by EN360.
