The RIDGEGEAR RGA2 is a durable, multi-purpose 10-metre fall arrest block designed to provide reliable fall protection across a wide range of industrial work environments. With a tough cast alloy housing and integrated carrying handle, the RGA2 enables unrestricted movement during normal working activity, while delivering fast, responsive arrest in the event of a fall.
Ideal for semi-permanent installations in elevated work areas, the RGA2 is commonly used in industries such as construction, utilities, and transport—including on lorry sheeting gantries when paired with a beam trolley. The unit includes a shock absorber pack, making it suitable for work near edges where fall risk is elevated, though horizontal or foot-level attachment is still discouraged due to the risk of injury from low clearance.
The RGA2 connects to anchor points via a double-action karabiner, anchorage sling, or soft slings, and features a fall-indicating connector to alert users if the device has been deployed. Its stabilising handle adds security during setup and use, while the high-tensile steel swivel karabiner ensures strong and flexible attachment.
Certified to EN 360:2002 and VG11.060, this fall arrest block is built for safety, durability, and performance at height.
