PETZL – AVAO SIT
The Petzl AVAO SIT is a lightweight and modular sit harness designed for workers at height who require comfort, efficiency, and customisability during work positioning and rope descent tasks. Built with a semi-rigid, contoured design and breathable padding, it offers outstanding support for long-duration use, while remaining compact and versatile.
The AVAO SIT harness stands out for its modular capability, it can be easily transformed into a full-body fall arrest harness by adding a TOP or TOP CROLL chest harness, using a RING OPEN or quick link, making it a flexible option for professionals in rope access, rescue, and technical climbing environments.
The waistbelt and leg loops feature self-locking DOUBLEBACK buckles for fast, secure adjustment, while anti-slip devices ensure a consistent fit throughout the workday. Foldable metal side attachment points reduce the risk of snagging, and the metal ventral D-ring allows connection of a PODIUM or LITEPOD work seat, or integration of a lanyard via the textile loop and a RING OPEN.
Unlike the AVAO European Version, which includes integrated shoulder straps for fall arrest as standard, the AVAO SIT is a pure sit harness, offering a lighter and more flexible option for professionals who prefer to customise their harness setup.
With five pre-shaped equipment loops, along with slots for CARITOOL tool holders or the INTERFAST system, the AVAO SIT offers excellent gear organisation for a productive and comfortable day at height.
