Abtech – SLIX 50 Rescue Stretcher Combined with Spinal Splint
The Abtech SLIX50 is specifically designed for use in difficult and confined spaces, making it an ideal solution for challenging rescue operations. Its unique articulated skirt at the bottom of the stretcher can be removed if needed. When attached, the skirt offers upper leg protection while allowing a degree of flexibility for navigating tight areas.
For enhanced manoeuvrability, the Rescue Stretcher features hauling points on both the top and sides of the stretcher. The side hauling points enable the stretcher to be held in a semi-horizontal position, ensuring greater control during transportation. To ensure the casualty’s safety and stability, it includes an integral spinal splint with a head block, effectively immobilising the patient throughout the rescue process.
The SLIX50 is an ‘arms out’ stretcher, which should be carefully considered when transporting an unconscious patient.
